PEACE – WHIS PARTNERSHIP PEACE REVOLUTION

This week has been an exciting one as I was contacted early in the week by Karolina Mazetyte from Peace Revolution. Karolina and the team are co-ordinating a number of activities in Europe as part of the World Peace Initiative. We have agreed a partnership to work together and it’s an exciting time for both organisations as we continue to develop.

Peace Revolution

Their aim is to promote a culture of peace through the practice of mindfulness and meditation. Something I’m becoming more interested in as I follow the work of Dr Zsu.

What it means is collaboration between the World Health Innovation Summit and Peace Revolution. It links us with the World Peace Initiative and as a result will mean members of our team we will travel to Hungary next April 2016 to take part in the 1st European Peace Summit.

Peace Revolution’s slogan, Peace In Peace Out, stands for each individual’s
choice to be the change they want to see in the world. Hence, through
individual mindful action, we can make sustainable world peace a tangible
reality.

The Hungary summit will bring a number of international agencies together to introduce them to meditation and mindfulness practice in order to empower them with tools and knowledge on how to improve both professional and personal development inside their organisations. It’s an ideology we are very much supporting and as we grow intend to promote.

Along with attending the event the partnership allows us to collaborate with Peace Revolution on social media. They have a social media following of 112,000.

As our slogan states “Together, We Inspire” – this is another example of how we can work together to improve health and social care around the World. It’s the first of many partnerships as we continue to work towards our Cumbrian Summit in March 2016.
